Kaziranga needs no introduction – it is renowned for its thrilling safaris, where you can have close encounters with the endangered one-horned rhino and a variety of other wildlife. However, there is much to Kaziranga than just safaris. Embark on an immersive walk through the Karbi villages and hills, gaining valuable insights into the tribe’s culture, their deep connection with the forests, and their way of life. Then head to serene Majuli, the world’s largest river island. Explore the island by crisscrossing its landscape, marveling at the wetlands and abundant birdlife. Visit the quaint villages of the welcoming Mising tribe, and immerse yourself in the rich heritage of the neo-Vaishnavite satras, considered some of the most significant centers for Assamese performing arts and crafts.
